📡 How Analog TV Broadcasting Works
AM (Amplitude Modulation) encodes video by varying the strength of the carrier wave. Brighter parts of the picture = stronger signal.
FM (Frequency Modulation) encodes audio by varying the frequency of the carrier wave. Higher pitch = faster oscillation.
Both signals are combined into a single RF channel and broadcast from a tower. Your TV antenna picks up this combined signal and separates them back into picture and sound!
Adjust the controls to explore RF signal modulation.
